Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner having less electromagnetically induced noise by a method wherein an optical insulator such as a photocoupler for a control device is separated by an optical transmittance path and elongated to make an electrical signal line as short as possible. CONSTITUTION:An interface part 26 for an air conditioner separated by an optical fiber 24 from a control unit 25 has an optical fiber connecting connector 27 and a control input/output. The control input/output part 10 is connected to a remote controlled input/output part 8 with an electrical signal line 11. A control signal for an air conditioner is inputted to an adapter 20 through electrical signal lines 1 and 2, branched by the adapter 20, passes through a signal processing circuit 4 for a control unit 25 and then is inputted to a transmittance and receiving circuit 5, electrically/ optically converted and then is sent to the interface part 26 for the air conditioner. With this arrangement, if an electrical signal line 11 easily receiving an electromagnetically induced noise is shortened and a distance of transmittance and receiving signal through an optical fiber 24 is elongated, less electromagnetically induced noise is found even in case of an air conditioner 6 installed embedded in the ceiling and the like and a signal line for the control device 25 is long, resulting in that a high reliable information transmittance can be performed.
