Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a highly reliable detection of a tire internal pressure by an inexpensive device with a simplified construction, by mounting a specified resonance section on a valve of a tire to detect the state of resonance varying according to the tire internal pressure with a portable inspecting device. CONSTITUTION:A valve 4 of a tire is provided with a sensitive section 9 varying in the output thereof according to the internal pressure thereof and a resonance section 10 which contains a resonance coil 8 resonating by a radiation electromagnetic wave from outside and a capacitor. On the other hand, a portable inspector body 20 incorporates an oscillating section 24 for generating a specified electromagnetic wave, a signal processing section 25 and the like. With such an arrangement, when an oscillation coil 24a is inserted into the resonance section 10, oscillation of an oscillator 24 varies with a resonance changing according to a tire internal pressure. This resonance variation is processed with a signal processing section 25 and, for example, when the internal pressure is above a prescribed value, it is displayed by blue on a display section 26 while done by red when below the value.
