Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a foldable projection type display device and to reduce in weight by fixing a projection unit on a pedestal and linking a reflecting mirror with a screen panel through a top plate so that they can be freely opened and closed. CONSTITUTION:The projection unit 2 and a 2nd reflecting mirror 3 are fixed inside the pedestal 1. The 2nd reflecting mirror 4 is mounted on the rear end part of the pedestal 1 to be freely opened and closed. And the screen panel 6 is mounted on the front end part of the pedestal 1 to be freely opened and closed. The free end of the 2nd reflected mirror 4 and the free end of the screen panel 6 are linked through the top plate 8 to be freely opened and closed. In case of projection, respective members are opened to be assembled and projected light from the projection unit 2 is reflected on the 1st and the 2nd reflecting mirrors 3 and 4 to be projected on the screen panel 6. Then, opening and closing actions can be surely executed and the portability of a device can be improved since the free ends of the reflecting mirror and the screen panel are linked through the top plate to be freely opened and closed.
