Abstract

PURPOSE:To sharply focus throughout a picture irrespective of synchronizing frequency by varying the resonance frequency of a resonance circuit that forms a dynamic focus correction signal corresponding to the synchronizing frequency. CONSTITUTION:The resonance circuit is constituted of a capacitor C1 and the secondary windings 12a of a transformer 12 connected in series to a flyback transformer 10 which functions as a saturable reactor, and a dynamic focus correction signal in parabola shape is outputted through a coupling capacitor C2. The conversion characteristics of a frequency/voltage conversion circuit 4, a voltage control circuit 13, and a transformer, as well as the value of the capacitor C1, are so set that the frequency of a horizontal drive pulse supplied to the circuit 4 and the resonance frequency of the resonance circuit come coincident with each other.
