Abstract

If the capacitor 16 continues the discharge and a predetermined time or over elapses, if the electric field received by the auxiliary antenna 5 does not reach a predetermined value or over, the TRs 14, 18 are cut off, a relay coil 29 is deenergized and the main antenna 1 is driven by a motor 4 while being contracted. Since the main antenna 1 is driven automatically in response to the received electric field strength detected by the auxiliary antenna 5, the operability is improved considerably.
