Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the production efficiency by mounting a lens holder member supporting a lens to a rail face of a rail so as to simplify the position adjustment in mounting a lens base unit to the device main body or eliminating the need for the adjustment. CONSTITUTION:The reference of the coordinate of an optical system is selected to be a rail face 20a being a sliding face of the 1st mirror unit and the 2nd mirror unit and the lens base unit 7 adjusted in advance by a jig is fitted to the rail face 20a directly. Thus, no processing error of a bent part as the mount part is not caused and the deviated position of the lens 15 with respect to a picture light is not caused. Thus, it is not required to adjust the height or position of the lens base unit 7 in mounting it to the main body and the assembling manhour and time are reduced remarkably to reduce the cost of the reader.
