Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the pulsatile undulation of a diaphragm, by constituting the diaphragm in the manner that the peripheral edge part thereof is made thick while successively becomes thin as toward the center part thereof. CONSTITUTION:A housing 10 has a semispherical main body part 11 constituting the outside of a blood chamber 14 and a back plate part 12 constituting the outer contour of an air chamber 15. The outer peripheral surface of the peripheral edge part of the diaphragm 0 molded into a semispherical shape from an antithrombogenic polymer material is mounted to the inner peripheral surface of the peripheral edge part of the main body part 11 in the housing 10 in an airtight state. The diaphragm 20 is made thick at the peripheral edge part thereof while successively becomes thin as toward the center part thereof.
