Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce total leakage of air by arranging a push-in blower at the starting end of pipe for transporting powder material and a suction blower at the end of the pipe thereby lowering maximum pressure in the transportation pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A push-in blower 11 and a damper 16 are arranged at the inlet of a powder material transportation pipe 13 while a suction blower 15 and a damper 17 are arranged at the outlet, and the air flow is regulated through the dampers 16, 17. A powder material mixing means 12 carries predetermined quantity of powder material at a time through hoppers 21W23 having rotary feeders 18W20 at the lower portion and mixing sections 24W25 coupled in series. Air is blown out through a nozzle 27 and jet flow of air is produced through a reduced diameter section 28 so as to produce negative pressure at the lower section of the rotary feeder 18. Heavy powder material is collected through a cyclon 29 at the end portion of the pipe 13 while light powder material is collected through a bag filter 33 and contained through rotary valves 31, 32 into a tank 33. Consequently, maximum pressure in the pipe is lowered resulting in reduction of total air leakage.
