Abstract
PURPOSE: To grasp influence of fine powder material clearly by leading mixture of powder material and air into a catcher and feeding fine powder material and air flow which are not caught by the catcher thereby promoting solid/gas reaction of fine powder material.
CONSTITUTION: A powder feeder 1 is coupled through an ejector 3 with a piping 6 coupled to a blower 2, where the piping 6 is coupled with a cyclon 4. The cyclon 4 comprises an inner tube 7 into which classified fine powder material and air flow are discharged, and coupled through a piping 8 with a nozzle 9 in main flue 10 so as to discharge only fine powder material into the flue 10 in the direction shown by an arrow. A hopper 5 at the lower section of the cyclon 4 is communicated with an ejector 3' arranged in the piping 6 in the downstream of the ejector 3. Only fine powder material in the powder material fed from the powder material feeder 1 which is not caught by the cyclon 4 is discharged to the main flue 10. Consequently, solid state/gas reaction of the fine powder material is promoted and various tests can be made on the fine powder material.
