Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate removal of foreign matter by interlocking open/close operation of a shutter for take-out port at the end of a lateral feed conveyor arranged on the bottom of a container with ON/OFF operation of a conveyor clutch such that the clutch is disengaged when the shutter opens.
CONSTITUTION: A lateral feed conveyor 3 is born rotatably at the lower portions of side walls 17, 18 in front and rear of a container, then driven by a motor arranged at the side of a carry-out device 10 through a clutch 32 so as to carry grain in the direction of a take-out port 11. An arched shutter 24 is arranged at the take-out port 11 such that it can be opened/closed manually through a shutter lever 28 arranged at the outside of the side wall 18. Furthermore, a lever 29 for opening/closing the clutch 32 manually is provided. Open/close operation of the shutter 24 is normally interlocked with ON/OFF operation of the conveyor clutch 32, such that the clutch 32 can be disengaged only when the shutter is opened. Consequently, foreign matter accumulated at the take-in port 11 can be removed easily and the grain can be protected from damage.
