Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When setting of document on a, document table is detected, a solenoid 11 is energized based on a detection signal. Consequently, a rod 11' in the solenoid 11 projects and a wire 13 for compressing a spring 10 is fed out to expand the spring 10 so as to rotate a rotary board 8b in a paper P cassette body 8a as shown by an arrow A and lift the rotary board 8b to a position where the rotary board 8b can contact with a paper P feed roller 9. When copy operation is started under this condition, the paper P is fed out sheet by sheet through the roller 9. Consequently erroneous feeding of paper is prevented when a document is not set to eliminate useless feeding of paper, and the paper is not marked with an anti-double feed click 81.
