Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a film excelling in slip and antiblocking properties, undergoing no falling off of fine powder and having heat sealability, by spraying an aqueous dispersion containing a specified amount of a fine powder of a specified particle diameter on the surface of a PVA film. CONSTITUTION:A film is prepared by spraying an aqueous dispersion containing 5-30wt.% fine powder of a mean particle diameter of 0.5-100mu on at least either surface of a polyvinyl alcohol film so that the amount of the fine powder sprayed may be 0.2-3.0kg/m<2> and drying the film. The mean particle diameter of the fine powder used is limited within 0.5-100mu from the viewpoint of its antiblocking effect. Namely, when it is below 0.5mu or above 100mu, the antiblocking effect is decreased. The content of the fine powder in the aqueous dispersion sprayed is limited within 5-30wt.% from the viewpoint of the appearance of a film and the falling off of the fine powder. The amount of the fine powder sprayed is limited within 0.2-3.0g/m<2> from the viewpoints of the antiblocking effect and the falling off of the fine powder. When it is below 5wt.%, the surface appearance of a film is poor, and when it is above 30wt.%, the falling off of the fine powder occurs.
