Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] (1) A projection for a spacer on the surface of the cylindrical shaft hole of the bearing case, along the inner peripheral wall thereof, excluding at least the area forming the inner peripheral surface facing the rotating shaft. A band-shaped elastic foil having a section is wound multiple times and attached by its own elastic force, and the rotation axis is freely rotated through a wedge film at appropriate intervals in the circumferential direction on the inner circumferential surface of the elastic foil facing the rotation axis. 1. A step type foil journal bearing, characterized in that a land portion supported by the elastic foil is formed of a member having lower rigidity than the elastic foil.
