Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to maintain a stable fire-proof insulating property by composing cable cores arranged parallel in a flat type sheath in furnishing a fire-proof layer such as a mica tape winding on a conductor, over which furnishing further a bridged polyethylene layer. CONSTITUTION:To cable cores 8, a fire-proof layer 11 of an adequate thickness formed by winding mica tapes over a conductor 10 which is composed by stranding concentrically numerous lines of copper wires, for example, over which a specific thickness of layer is formed by extruding polyethylene, and a bridged polyethylene layer 12 hardened sufficiently by the bridging is furnished. Since the fire-proof layer 11 is inside the bridged polyethylene layer with an excellent physical strength and a sufficient hardness, a strong fastening force of fixing metals necessary to fix the laminated flat type cable is received by the bridged polyethylene layer, and no excessive fastening force is imposed to the mica winding layers. The cable can be set on condition that a specific fire-proof function is maintained consequently.
