Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a magnetic shield effect by forming a superconductive thin film made of specific substance on at least either an inner or outer wall of an internal magnetic shield plate. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive material is used to form a thin film 11 made of ceramic of Y/Ba/Cu/O or La/Sr/Cu/O on an inner wall and/or an outer wall of an internal magnetic shield plate 10 by means of a thin film forming technique such as sputtering. A magnetic field trying to cross the internal magnetic field from outside can be made to invade the inside by an accompanying Meissner effect of the superconductive material. Hence a magnetic shield effect can be improved.
