Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the damage generating on an electronic component main body when a cap is attached as well as to contrive improvement in reliability of the electric connection of the title electronic part by a method wherein the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical main part of the cap is smoothed, the inside diameter of said cylindrical main body is set a little smaller than the outside diameter of the main body of an electronic component, and an inclined flange, with which the diameter of the cylindrical main body is made wider in the direction of opening, is provided at the end of the opening. CONSTITUTION:When a gap 2 is fitted in the main body 1 of a capacitor, first, the inclined flange 8 of the cap 2 is abutted on the edge face of the capacitor main body 1, and in this case, the end part of the capacitor main body 1 is guided to the inner part of the cap 2 along the inclined flange 8 while the inclined flange 8 is being widened outward in the radial direction, because the inclined flange 8 is becoming small in diameter as going to the inner part, and also the cylindrical main body 7 of the cap 2 is widened toward outside of the radial direction by making an elastic deformation. As a result, the resistance of the cap 2 generated when the fitting-in work is conducted is small, the cap is fitted in smoothly because the cylindrical main body is outwardly widened, and the slipping off of the cap is prevented by the increased fitting strength by elastic restoring force.
