る。ところで管体pを持運ぶ際に便利な様に第3
図や第4図の如く管体の挿口側でも保護キヤツプ
を内嵌させることが要望されている。しかし挿口
内周は管体pの外径公差に加えて管体肉厚の寸法
誤差が加わるために大きな寸法公差を吸収できな
ければならない。しかるに、第2図の様に筒状部
bに突条や傾斜突条を設けたものでは大きな寸法
公差の吸収は困難であり、従来と同様の構成でか
かる要望を満足させることはできない。

とにともに係合するものであるため、この係合部
によつても管端部からの脱落を防止できてこの管
端部への装着、保持性を良好なものとすることが
できるのみならず、係合部によつて管端部の端面
と外周面を保護することもできる。さらに閉鎖板
部により管端を閉鎖できるため、ホコリ、ゴミ等
が管内に入り込むのを防止できて管内面の粉体塗
装を確実に保護できると共に、係合部と閉鎖板部
とは軸心方向に距離をおいて設けられているた
め、管端内側に手をかけ若しくは治具を係合させ
ることができることになつて、管体の持ち運びが
容易であり、しかも管体の接合および管内への通
水前の除去作業も容易である。
