Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of accident caused by the erroneous stepping on a pedal by providing a bearing in the middle part of a pedal, making the pedal longitudinally rotatable, and opposing the front end of the pedal to an accelerator lever while opposing its rear end to the end of the shaft of a brake oil pressure pump. CONSTITUTION:A pedal bearing 3 is provided in the middle part on the back face of a rectangular pedal 1, which is formed to be longitudinally rotatable centering around the bearing 3. And, the front end of the back face of the pedal 1 is opposite to an accelerator lever 6 while the rear end of the pedal 1 is opposite to the end of the shaft 7 of a brake oil pressure pump. Thereby, both function of a brake pedal and an accelerator pedal can be given to a single pedal.
