Abstract
PURPOSE:To sufficiently ensure the space of an air intake part even for an automobile body with a low cowl point in an air intake structure by extending an air passage forward from a cowl panel and placing an air intake port on the lower part of a bonnet. CONSTITUTION:An air intake box 58 for taking in outside air is provided in front of a cowl panel 16 and on a suspension tower 30, and an air passage 60 is formed with this air intake box 58 and one end part of the cowl panel 16. The air intake box 58 is formed by utilizing the suspension tower 30 and a wheel apron reinforcement 26, in addition to an L-shaped panel 64 and a top cover member 66. And, an air intake port 68 is provided in the center part of the top cover member 66 and the air intake passage 60 connecting the air intake port 68 to an air introducing port 52 is formed with the cowl panel 16.
