Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain such a circuit that requires a prescribed number of sets of bias signals which do not rely upon the characteristics of used transducers by providing a complement of operational amplifiers which compensate the nonlinear response characteristics of the transducers. CONSTITUTION: An automatic balancer 16 is provided with three operational amplifiers 51, 51A, and 51B, the adding inputs 55, 55A, and 55B of which combine signals 15 from a signal amplifier 14 with a prescribed bias signal 59, and different bias signals are used at every amplifier 51, etc. The outputs of the amplifiers 51, etc., are supplied to the positive and negative feedback inputs of amplifiers 13 and 14 through potentiometers 79, 79A, and 79B. The potentiometers 79, etc., can be adjusted so that the total gain of the amplifiers 13 and 14 can be increased or decreased by the amount corresponding to the setting of the potentiometers 79, etc. The values of the bias signals are selected so that the amplifiers 51, etc., can become effective in different parts of the range of the output signals of the amplifiers 13 and 14. Therefore, a required bias value does not rely upon the response characteristics of the signals supplied to the amplifiers 13 and 14 and it is not necessary to newly obtain the bias values at every transducer.
