Abstract

PURPOSE:To prolong the cleaning period of a density sensor or to realize a non-cleaning state by providing a temperature sensor in a position opposed to the guiding surface of the continuous paper made of transparent boarding material and also in a position facing the feeding holes of the continuous paper. CONSTITUTION:The guiding member 45a is made of the transparent boarding material and the density sensor 47 is installed in the position opposed to the guiding surface of the continuous paper 100 of the guiding member 45a and also facing the feeding holes 100b of the continuous paper 100. Namely, there is no hindrance in the detection of density marks by means of a photoelectric type density sensor 47 since the front surface of the density sensor 47 is the transparent board 45a. And the surface of the transparent board 45a is always cleaned by rubbed with the moving continuous paper 100 and, moreover, the density sensor 47, that is, the transparent board 45a and the feeding holes 100b are deviated in position at the time of nonrecording. Thus, the cleaning period of the density sensor can be prolonged or the non-cleaning state can be realized.
