Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for determining the mounting positions of auxilliary resonators according to places of installation and facilitate layout and execution of work, by providing the auxilliary resonators having resonance frequencies which tune with oscillation frequencies of a ballast to an oscillating system consisting of the ballast and an elastic supporter. CONSTITUTION:An elastic supporter 2 is stiff enough in terms of mechanical strength as an apparatus and supports a ballast 3 elastically. In such a case, as its elastic support is designed with emphasis on the practical strength, vibration transmissibility exceeds 1 with respect to basic frequencies 2fHz in the case of oscillations of its ballast 3. If the above state is left as it is, then vibration transmissiblity does not take reduced effect for the basic frequencies 2fHz. Under this situation, auxilliary resonators 4 which is adjusted to 2fHz is installed in the vicinity of the maximum extent of the amplitude of vibration at the elastic supporter 2. Thus the vibration absorption effect of the auxilliary resonators 4 lessens oscillations of 2fHz as well. This approach eliminates the need for considering the mounting positions of the auxilliary resonators 4 so as to absorb vibrations without lowering the practical supporting strength of the ballast 3.
