In conventional relays of this type, an electromagnet is formed by attaching an L-shaped yoke to a coil bobbin in which a coil is wound and an iron core is inserted so as to connect it to the iron core, and the electromagnet is inserted into a recess along with a contact spring assembly. It was built into a base mold and used as a relay.

Conventional relays have many parts to assemble, which requires a lot of man-hours and time, and the dielectric strength between the yoke, where the coil and contacts are directly connected, is low, making it impossible to switch high voltages and high currents. This was countered by inserting insulating plates.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a concave base mold with an open upper surface made of an insulating resin molded body;
2 is a coil bobbin on which a coil (not shown) is wound;
3 is an iron core, 4 is an L-shaped yoke, 5 is an armature, 6 is a movable contact spring terminal, 7 is a pair of fixed contact spring terminals, 8
is an insulating cap. The base mold 1 is insert-molded with the yoke 4 such that the upper part of the vertical piece 4a thereof is exposed when the mold is formed. At this time, the yoke 4 is insert-molded with the iron core 3 standing up in advance on the horizontal piece 4b located at the bottom of the base mold 1, or a part of the horizontal piece 4b is exposed from the bottom of the base mold. After insert molding, horizontal piece 4 of the exposed part
Weld the iron core 3 to b and set it upright. Therefore, the base mold 1 is formed as a single component, with the iron core 3 erected in the electromagnet accommodating portion 1a, and the yoke 4 inserted with the upper part of the vertical piece 4a protruding.
Further, when forming the base mold 1, a hole 1b into which the fixed contact spring terminal 7 is inserted and a hole 1c into which the terminal portion of the movable contact spring terminal 6 is inserted are simultaneously formed in the peripheral side wall thereof. Then, in the base mold 1 formed in this way, the coil bobbin 2 is inserted into the accommodating part 1a so as to insert the iron core 3, and the contact springs 6 and 7 are inserted into the corresponding holes 1b and 1c, and the movable contact spring terminals are inserted. 6 is inserted in contact with the yoke 4. Also, after inserting the coil bobbin 2, the iron core 3
The insulating cap 8 can be placed over the upper surface of the accommodating part 1a so that the upper part of the insulating cap 8 protrudes from the hole 8a, and adhesive is applied between the periphery of the insulating cap 8 and the inner surface of the accommodating part 1a to close the insulating cap 8. is fixed, and the upper surface of the housing portion 1a is closed. Furthermore, the movable portion of the movable contact spring terminal 6 is disposed substantially horizontally on the insulating cap 8, and is attached so that its contact can come into contact with and separate from the contact of the fixed contact spring terminal 7. Thereafter, a cover (not shown) is attached to the base mold 1 so as to cover the contact portions of the movable contact spring terminal 6 and the fixed contact spring terminal 7, thereby manufacturing the electromagnetic relay according to the present invention. This relay has a structure in which a yoke 4 is insert molded into a base mold 1, and an electromagnet and a contact spring set are separated by an insulating cap 8.

As described above, according to the electromagnetic relay of the present invention, the number of parts is reduced by insert molding the yoke into the mold base, and the insulation resin of the mold base is present between the yoke and the coil, which improves the dielectric strength. The effect is significant.
