Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the initial steam temperature at starting from being raised and restrain the necessity for raising the quality of material and for increasing wall thickness in the apparatus in the caption by providing a high pressure exhaust ventilation pipe and a high pressure exhaust pressure control valve in a high pressure exhaust ventilation system. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure exhaust ventilation system 27 is provided for discharging the high pressure turbine exhaust steam when the exhaust steam pressure of a high pressure turbine 6 exceeds a preset value. A high pressure exhaust ventilation pipe 28 and a high pressure exhaust pressure control valve 29 are provided in the high pressure exhaust ventilation system 27. The steam temperature rising caused by windage loss of turbine moving blades in the initial stage of starting can be thus prevented. In this manner, the design condition is alleviated and the necessity for raising the quality of material and for increasing the wall thickness can be restrained.
