Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize speed variation during idling by disposing a helper spring by which one pre-stress is given, in series with a governor spring that regulates a tension lever. CONSTITUTION: A tension lever 23 is rotatably supported on a shaft 15 and is subject to a load from a governor spring 25. One helper spring 28 in the same action direction as the governor spring 25, is disposed. The behavior of the governor is determined by the characteristics of an idle spring 21, the governor spring 25 and the helper spring 28. Thus, the speed variation during idling can be stabilized and a protruding increase in a feeding quantity can be prevented.
