Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure gas pressure in rotation by providing a light control plate which varies the passage quantity of light, etc., to a bellows which expands and shrinks as the gas pressure in a tire varies, and converting variation in the quantity of light crossing the control plate into gas pressure and displaying the gas pressure. CONSTITUTION:One end 31 of the bellows 31 which expands and shrinks lengthwise with the gas pressure in the tire is connected to the tire and the other end is connected to the light control plate 5. Then an optical fiber 7 is arranged crossing the plate 5 at right angles as an optical path 6 crossing the plate 5 and, for example, the quantity of light crossing the plate 5 varies from the base end part 51 to the tip part 52. Then when the gas pressure decreases, the bellows 3 shrinks, the plate 5 moves to reduce light reaching a photodetection end 9, and the photodetection quantity is displayed on a gas display device which performs conversion to gas pressure. Thus, the gas pressure is measured without stopping a wheel.
