Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain high accuracy by converting a pressure value outputted by an in-cylinder pressure sensor into absolute pressure according to the absolute value of a negative pressure sensor output corresponding to a specific crank angle in a cylinder suction stroke. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder head 2 is provided with a piezoelectric in-cylinder pressure sensor 3 and a negative pressure sensor 6 is installed on the downstream side of a throttle valve. Further, the signal of the sensor 3 is inputted to a control circuit 8 through a charge amplifier 7, and the signal of the sensor 6 is supplied through a negative pressure sensor signal amplifying circuit 9; and the signal of a crank angle sensor 12 is supplied to the circuit 8. Then circuit 8 converts the pressure outputted by the sensor 3 into the absolute pressure according to the absolute pressure value of the sensor 6 corresponding to the specific crank angle in the cylinder suction stroke, and a driving signal is supplied to an actuator to perform combustion control. Thus, the absolute value pressure is detected with high accuracy and the combustion control is performed effectively.
