Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of iron loss measurement by clamping an iron plate to be measured between an exciting coil and a secondary coil and arranging three H coils fixedly. CONSTITUTION:H Coils 111 and 112 are fixedly arranged between the iron plate 1 to be measured and the secondary coil 3 at proper intervals. An H coil 113 is fixedly arranged between the iron plate 1 to be measured and exciting coil 2 at proper intervals. The output signals H1, H2, and H3 of those H coils 111, 112, and 113 are led to and processed by an arithmetic means 16 and the intensity of surface magnetic force at the iron plate position is inputted to an iron loss arithmetic means 12. The iron loss arithmetic means 12 calculates the iron loss of an iron plate which is not measured continuously from a specific expression based on the output signal of the arithmetic means 16, information from an excitation control means 10, and information regarding plate thickness from the iron loss arithmetic means 13. Thus, the intensity of a true magnetic field applied to the iron plate can be calculated even when the magnetic field becomes irregular owing to the distances between the iron plate 1 to be measured and H coils 111, 112 and 113.
