Abstract

PURPOSE:To instantaneously make an image switchable by inputting a synthetic video signal, which is synthesized with an image A formed by every other scanning line and an image B formed by the scanning line other than the scanning line to form the image A, and selectively switching either of the image A or the image B out of the synthetic video signals. CONSTITUTION:A video signal inputting means 1 inputs the synthetic video signal, which is synthesized with the image A formed by every other scanning line and the image B formed by the scanning line other than the scanning line to form the image A, from a video equipment such as VTR, etc., and an identification detecting means 2 identifies that each scanning line of the inputted synthetic video signal constitutes either of the image A or the image B.
