CONSTITUTION:A ceiling base material R provided with an opening 2 providing a sun roof, a notch 10 for attaching a room light, a recess 11 for receiving a sun visor, etc., is made of the laminated layers of surface skin material 3 made of PVD, urethane slab material 4, glass mat material 5 containing glass fibers, semi-hard urethane 6, glass mat material 7 equivalent to glass mat 5 in quality, unwoven cloth 8, etc., sequentially from the compartment. In the ceiling material 1 made of such ceiling base material R is disposed SMC 9 on spots requiring particularly the rigidity. This SMC 9 is molded into the sheet form by impregnating a glass fiber reinforcement having short glass fibers dispersed in random directions with polyester resin mixed with filler, catalyzer, etc.
