Abstract

PURPOSE:To dry a fresh material and a regenerated material simultaneously, separately and efficiently by introducing hot air used for drying the fresh material charged into an outer drum into an inner drum and drying the regenerated material. CONSTITUTION:Both an outer drum 1 and an inner drum 10 are rotated to the counterclockwise direction by opening a discharge valve 44 and actuating a heating device 6 and an exhauster 23. Then a fresh material is charged into the drum 1 through an charging means 7 and the regenerated material is charged into the drum 10 through an charging means 18 and the fresh material is passed through the gap G between the drums 1, 10 and transferred to the right direction and countercurrently brought into contact with hot sir fed from the device 6 and dried and thereafter discharged via an exhaust port 1b and an exhaust chute 5. On the other hand, the regenerated material is transferred to the right direction in the drum 10 and brought into contact with the hot air sent into the drum 10 through the inside of the drum 1 from the device 6, dried and discharged through a discharge port 10b, a communication chute 12, a storage part 43 of the lower part of an intermediate manifold 19 and a discharge pipe 45.
