Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a highly electroconductive composition having a high draw ratio, by using a conjugated polymer formed by stretching a molding of a speci fied polymer precursor in a wet state and subjecting the product to an elimina tion reaction and a dopant as components. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising a conjugated polymer obtained by stretching a molding of a polymer precursor having repeating units of formula I in a wet state and treating the product to eliminate OR2 groups from it and dopant as components. As said molding, one obtained by a sulfonium salt of decomposition process in which a disulfonium salt formula II is used as a mono mer is particularly desirable because it can give a higher electroconductivity. In the formula, R1 is a group which forms a carbon-carbon conjugated system connected to a vinylene group formed by the dehydrogenation of the >CH- CH2-group, R2 is a 1-10C hydrocarbon group, R3 and R4 are each a 1-10C hydrocarbon group, and X<-> is a counter ion.
