Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain yarn producing diffraction phenomena by light action and colorful luster, comprising a fundamental material of polyester film, fine circular diffraction grating groups distributed in the fundamental material, a metallic reflecting film and a propylene protecting layer. CONSTITUTION:A dry plate having arranged a great number of circular hologram diffraction groups is made by using corrosive carving technique of diffraction grating by laser beam. Then a mold plate or a rolled roller mold of the fine circular diffraction grating is reproduced. The reproduced plate or mold is pressed to a heated and softened fundamental material 1 of a polyester film. Then a metallic reflecting film 2 is plated on the fundamental material 1. Finally the material is coated with a protecting layer 3. The fine circular diffraction grating has preferably 10-400 microns diameter. The thickness of yarn line is preferably 1-20 millimeter.
