Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled yarn capable of sizeless weaving using a water jet loom, by initially applying a spinning oiling agent containing a waterproof agent blended therein to a spun yarn after quenching and solidifying, providing entanglements therefor, then applying a smoothing oiling agent containing no waterproof agent and winding the obtained yarn at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A spinning oiling agent containing a waterproof agent (e.g. wax or silicone) blended therein is initially applied to a spun polyamide yarn after quenching and solidifying. Entanglements are then provided by turbulent fluid treatment and a smoothing oiling agent containing no waterproof agent is subsequently applied to wind the oiled yarn at >=4000m/min speed and afford the aimed yarn. Furthermore, the pickup of the spinning oiling agent containing no waterproof agent in the yarn is preferably 0.1-0.3wt.%.
