Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable sure operation of a doffing apparatus with compact structure, by rotatably attaching a mobile arm to a mobile vehicle, and providing the arm with a receiving tool to receive a full tube and with a tube gripper to feed an empty tube. CONSTITUTION:A link 4 is attached to a driving shaft 3a of a truck 2 moving along a frame 1 of a textile machine. An end of a mobile arm 6 is linked to the link 4 through a pin 5 and the other end of the mobile arm 6 is provided with a receiving tool 10 to hold a full tube 31. An end of a link 8 is connected to about the middle part of the mobile arm 6 with a pin 7 and the other end of the link 8 is attached to a bearing 9 of the truck 2. A driving apparatus 11 such as rotary actuator is placed near the receiving tool 10 at an end of the mobile arm 6 and an arm 12 is attached to the output shaft of the driving apparatus. A gripper 13 for gripping an empty tube is attached to a tip end of the arm 12.
