Abstract
PURPOSE:To reliably prevent the occurrence of a risk of ignition due to stay of gas, by a method wherein a torch containing part to contain a torch part and a pipe containing part to contain a pipe for feed gas are formed in a state to be opened in the open air outside a torch body. CONSTITUTION:During non-use, e.g. storage, of a portable torch, a torch part 22, a pipe 23, and a stand 24 are contained in a torch containing part 27, a pipe containing part 28, and a stand containing part 40, respectively. In this case, the torch part 22 and the pipe 23 are contained in the torch containing part 27 and the pipe containing part 28, respectively, which are opened in the open air outside a torch body 21. This constitution, even when gas leaks past the torch part 22 and the pipe 23, enables the gas to be rapidly discharged into the open air without staying in the torch part 27 and the pipe containing part 28, resulting in surely preventing the occurrence of a risk of ignition due to stay of gas.
