Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable a driver to be instantly informed of the occurance of abnormality by constituting an abnormal signal to be outputted to a warning drive means when the output signal from an intake air flow sensor inputted at the time of full throttle closing exhibits a value greater than a set one.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of engine 1 operations, a control means 11 firstly obtains the basic quantity of fuel injection from the map for the basic quantity of fuel injection based on both data for the intake air pressure (data for the intake air flow) obtained from the output from a pressure sensor 13 and data for the revolving speed of an engine obtained from the output from a revolving speed sensor 14. In the second place, the actual quantity of fuel injection is deduced by correcting the aforesaid basic quantity of fuel injection depending on output signals from the other sensors so as to drivingly control an injector 9. In this place, when data for intake air pressure from the pressure sensor 13 exhibits a value greater than a set value with a throttle value 7 fully closed, and also with the idling contact point on for a throttle position sensor 12, it is judged that abnormality has occurred for allowing a warning means 17 to function.
