Abstract
PURPOSE:To effect the operation of an induction motor, which is high in performance and wide in application range, utilizing a secondary loss effectively, by a method wherein a plurality of voltages and frequencies is superposed to control the voltage or the frequency. CONSTITUTION:A superposed transformer 21A is provided with windings 22a-22c, 23a-23c and a first power source device 19 is connected to a motor 18 through the windings 22a-22c while a second power source device 20A is connected through the windings 22a-22c, 23a-23c of the superposed transformer 21A. A voltage V1 and a frequency (f1) supplied by the first power source device 19, are superposed on the voltage V2 and the frequency (f2), supplied by the second power source device 20A, while the superposed voltage and the superposed frequency are applied on the motor 18.
