Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a rice cooker compact and make a rice cooking switch easily operable with a light touch by using a non-lock type key switch whose mounting position can be optionally set as the control switch of the rice cooker. CONSTITUTION: This rice cooker has a temperature sensor TH, a rice cooking heater H1, a rice cooking ON-switch SW1, a rice cooking OFF-switch SW2, and a latching relay formed of a contact X, a set coil L1, a reset coil L2 and the like which controls the current-carrying to the rice cooking heater H1. In a control circuit, the latching relay is ON by the switch SW1 to carry a current to the rice cooking heater H1, and the latching relay is released by the signal from the temperature sensor TH or the switch SW2 to stop the current-carrying to the rice cooking heater H1. These rice cooking ON-switch SW1 and rice cooking OFF-switch SW2 are formed of non-lock type key switches. Consequently, the rice cooker can be made compact, and the rice cooking switch can be made easily operable with a light touch.
