Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform alignment adjustment always under the same condition, by projecting alignment index beam toward an eye to be examined in the beam path between an objective lens and a variable power lens and forming an index reflected image by a reflecting member. CONSTITUTION:The beams from two beam emitting element 55 are emitted as the alignment index beam of two beams by a concave mirror 53 and a pinhole 51 and said index beam passes through a half mirror 41 to form the image of the pinhole 51 at the center of curvature of the cornea S of an eye E to be examined in a superposed state through the first dichroic mirror 37 and an objective lens 13. The reflected alignment index beam passes through a reverse route to be reflected by the half mirror 41 and is directly incident to an imaging apparatus 17 through a lens 43, a mirror 45 and the second dichroic mirror 47 without being affected by a variable power lens 21 and displayed by a monitor apparatus 33. By this method, even when imaging or projecting variable power is changed by a fundus camera, alignment adjustment can be always performed under the same condition.
