Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance bio-compatibility and strength and to improve handling property, by inserting a core rod having a predetermined characteristic into a cylindrical body composed of a fibrous material. CONSTITUTION:Into a cylindrical body composed of a fibrous material, a core rod having a diameter almost same to the inner diameter of said cylindrical body and non-adherent to a somatic cell is inserted substantially over the whole thereof in the length direction. For example, the inner surface of the fibrous material is formed of an extremely fine fiber composed of polyester having finness of 0.8 denier or less. For example, the core rod is formed of any one of silicone type, fluorocarbon type and olefinic plastics. The patch material can be covered with a bi-absorbable polymer.
