Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate positioning error with high resolution power of a piezoelectric element by providing a piezoelectric element for a bearing holder or a nut holder and mounting a controller which changes application voltage to the piezoelectric element according to error of a feed screw. CONSTITUTION:A table 2 moved by a feed motor 5 turned under the command of an NC device 19 is positioned when the output signal from a position detector 9 coincides with the command value of the NC device 19. At this time pitch error of a pole screw 4, defective turning precision of bearings 8, 12 and 13 or faulty assembly occurs. The control signal according to such error is sent to a piezoelectric controller 21, which changes the voltages applied to piezoelectric elements 14 and 15 to displace the axial position of the pole screw 4 a little so that the positioning error of the table 2 can be compensated.
