Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize constant water supply at the manufacturing point by fixing injector nozzles to a main block which is turnably attached to the tool joint shaft of a tool holder and giving turning moment to the main block from the side of a machining center. CONSTITUTION:When a tool holder 2 is attached to a machining center, an injection pipe 28 is engaged with a pinion gear 24 to lower an air pipe 41 so that the engagement between a stopper 43 and a notched disk 44 is released. An internal sleeve 34 is then unlocked and allowed to turn freely from the tool holder 2 so that the grinding action can coincide with the turning moment given from a driving source block. Water supply for grinding is form injection nozzles 46 fixed to an injection nozzle fixing plate 45 which is turned and stopped according to the moving grinding point. The ejection can be constantly directed to any grinding point and such directioning effect can be materialized by just redesigning the ordinary machining canter and the tool holder.
