Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the volume of a process liquid for impregnation process by inflating a pressure-resistant bag so that the space between a container and wood housed therein may be filled in and filling the process liquid in the remaining space only, and pressurizing/impregnating the process liquid. CONSTITUTION: A single or a plurality of pressure resistance bags 17 with a flexible outer skin mounted in a container 1 are provided in a container 1, and a balance fluid injection device 22 to feed and pressurize a balance fluid such as water, air and carbon dioxide is provided thereon and a pressure difference detector 27 to detect the pressure difference between the pressure-resistant bag 17 and a container 1 is provided. The pressure-resistant bag 17 has the withstand pressure-resistant strength to withstand the pressure difference of 1 atm. The pressure difference detector 27 controls the operation of the balance fluid injection device 22 so that the pressure difference between the pressure- resistant bag 17 and the container 1 may not exceed the withstand pressure strength and the interior pressure of the pressure-resistant bag 17 may not be lower than that of the container 1.
