Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve a heat exchange of an absorption liquid with a combustion gas at a downstream with a low cost by reducing an arranging pitch of a solution tube group provided at a downstream of a combustion gas passage smaller than a solution tube group provided at the other part of the downstream. CONSTITUTION: A combustion gas inverted from a flue 4 via a smoke chamber 5 and introduced into a combustion gas passage 6 first heats absorption liquids in these tubes while passing between the solution tube groups 9 arranged at an upstream of the passage 6 to be gradually lowered at its temperature. And, in this generator, since a width of gaps 10 of the groups at the downstream is constituted about half of gaps 11 of the groups at an upstream of the passage 6, a flowing velocity of the gas passing the gap 10 is about twice as fast as that passing the gap 11. Therefore, a heat transfer rate of the gas to the tube of the downstream is higher than that of the upstream. And, the gas per unit volume at the downstream of the passage 6 and a heat transfer area to the tube are about twice as large as that at the downstream.
