Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively conduct a refrigeration in a short time by stopping an operation of a blower in a refrigeration accelerating state, and hence lowering an evaporating temperature of a refrigerant, thereby accelerating the refrigeration at a lower temperature than that at the normal cooling operation. CONSTITUTION: When an icemaking tray or food is placed on an auxiliary cooler 13 so that a temperature of the cooler 13 becomes an upper limit temperature or higher decided at a temperature detector included in a controller 17, a timer is started, respective contacts of a switch 19 are closed, and a solenoid valve 14 operates to switch so that a refrigerant output from a first capillary tube 15 bypasses a second capillary tube 16 to the cooler 13 and then to a main cooler 7. And, a switch 20 opens its contacts so that a motor-operated blower 8 is stopped. In this state, a motor-operated compressor 11 is continuously operated via a forcible operating circuit 22. The tray or food on the cooler 13 is directly cooled by heat conduction from the cooler 13 where the refrigerant previously flows as compared with the cooler 7 in this state.
