Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent load slip by emergently stopping an unmanned fork lift when a load in contact with a floor surface is detected by a load monitor sensor, and when load slip is detected by a load slip sensor. CONSTITUTION: As a load 3 is disposed on a loading position, a load monitor sensor 11 detects it, a control device 12 on a ground station generates a forward command to a car station through a drive signal transmitting device 13 to move an unmanned fork lift 1 forward. As a fork 4 is correctly inserted into a pallet 6, insertion completion is determined by a load carrying recognition sensor 5, and the fork 4 is lifted up. During this while, a load slip detection sensor 10 and a load monitor sensor 11 constantly monitor load displacement, and as load displacement is generated, the sensor 10 gets off, with the sensor 11 set off when the load 3 gets off a floor surface. The sensor 10 being off with the sensor being on indicates the slip of the load 3 while the fork 4 is inserted, when the unmanned fork lift 1 is emergently stopped.
