Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of a transmission due to double engagement etc., of a clutch by furnishing a sub-controller in addition to a controller to perform speed change control, and by performing speed change control upon changing over when any abnormality in the controller is sensed. CONSTITUTION:Upon receiving a lever position signal from a shift lever 40, an automatic speed change main controller 30 gives speed change command signals a1-a6 to a transmission valve 20 via a selector circuit 80, to switch the gear position of transmission 10. A sub-controller 50 provided besides compares the speed change commands a1-a6 from the main controller 30 with pressures P1-P6 of pressure control valves of T/M valve 20, and in case they are not identical, it shall be sensed as abnormality of the main controller 30 with the selector circuit 80 switched followed by output of other speed change command signals b1-b6 in accordance with a shift lever position signal SH. It is also switchable with an emergency manual switch 70, which can be reset by a reset switch 71. Thus breakage of T/M due to double engagement etc., of clutch can be prevented.
