Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The optional character-string in the sentence displayed on a displaying device 41, is designated by a character-string designating means 46. Next, the plural substitution character-strings for the designated character- string are inputted by a character-string inputting means 45, and are stored in a substitution character-string storing means 43 to display on the device 41. Next, a mark to show the substitution character-string and the plural substitution character-strings are displayed in the vicinity of the designated character- string on the device 41. An operator substitutes the character-string so as to unify the sentence while looking at the plural expressions displayed on the device 41 with eyes. Thus, a substituting work can be successively carried out while comparing the plural expressions, and besides, a part finished being elaborated once can be elaborated again.
