CONSTITUTION:The received target data RTD detected by a radar apparatus body 10 is subjected to a tracking processing in a tracking processing circuit 1 and is sent as the normal tracking target data TTD to an OR circuit 3 if the tracking is established by this tracking processing. The target data which is not established in the tracking is sent as the initial target data ITD to an initial target decision circuit 2. The initial target decision circuit 2 discriminates whether the position of the initial target data ITD is in a preset initial target generatable area or not. Said data is transmitted as the initial tracking target data ITTD to an OR circuit 3 when the position is within the area. The data is discarded as the false image target data in the initial target decision circuit 2 if said position is off the area. the initial tracking target data and the tracking target data are synthesized in the OR circuit 3 and is displayed as the target airplane data on a display device 20.
